Welcome

This blog was originally created for my Gender and Black World Literatures Course during Fall 2021. Its purpose was to highlight queer activists, artists, and identities across the African Diaspora. It was also used to track my work for my Research Practicum during the Fall 2022 semester. Now, this blog will collect my writings and academic work as well as blog posts on my personal interests. It is important to me to use this website to assert queer presence in Afro-Diaspora and recognize that we are here, we have always been here, and we will always be here.

"As Black feminists and Lesbians we know that we have a very definite revolutionary task to perform and we are ready for the lifetime of work and struggle before us."
